Jack Towers

Jack is a New York based abstract artist whose work explores the expressive potential of shape and color,  He creates bold, immersive works where fluid forms and vibrant hues interact. His work explores the intersection of personal memory and the natural world, translating experience into abstraction. He uses color, texture, and form to evoke emotions rather than depict specific places. Each painting is a response to a moment—a feeling distilled onto the canvas through gestural marks and layered pigments.

 

Jack is drawn to the unpredictability of paint, allowing intuition and process to guide his compositions. Sometimes, the work emerges from a particular landscape he’s encountered; other times, it is shaped by the subconscious, reflecting personal histories and shifting emotions. The result is an interplay between control and spontaneity, where the familiar dissolves into something open to interpretation.
